To meet this challenge, the engineers combined cutting-edge SpiraFlex® resistance technology with the geometrically designed cam system used for over 20 years in Nautilus® equipment.

Developed for use on the International Space Station, SpiraFlex® resistance provides even, consistent linear resistance necessary for building and maintaining lean, strong muscle. Lean muscle is the most efficient fat burner in the body.

Gone are the bulky, cumbersome weights common in many home gyms. SpiraFlex® resistance achieves its signature smoothness in part due to the heavy-gauge elastic straps powering its lightweight SpiraFlex® plates. As an exercise is initiated, the plate's bands tighten around a central pivot coil, creating resistance.
